vintage martini posters

today i came across these lovely vintage martini posters. i love the shade of sepia in them and think its such a shame they don't use these types of imaging on their current packaging. it would look so much nicer.

angelas ashes

just finished reading the amazing autobiographical book Angelas Ashes. it is about a young boys extremely poverty-stricken upbringing in Ireland during the 30-50's. i am amazed at the strength of character Francis 'Frank' Mcourt had. He and his surviving brothers had an incredible ability to survive and I find thier stories so inspiring.
