hey you! how have you been? today i wanted to show you these lovely picture hanging ideas - aren't they unique. i love the use of ribbon and string to hang picture frames - the one with the colourful picture frames with the clever use of string and mini pegs to hand the photos inside. i think the colours of the frames really works well with the colour photos. i have never been too keen on colour photos but they look really good this way.
i adore the top and last pictures the most - just my style. which is your favourite?

i have just added some new scrapbook cards here and here. if you have not seen these before, they are greetings cards with a scrapbook album feel as they have vintage pages sewn in and have a library pocket too so they are that extra little bit special - more like a gift than a card. i can also add a personalised message to them for you with my vintage typewriter at no extra cost.
you may have noticed that i have put some of the images in my last post to good use (i can't get enough of the phrenology head diagram!)i am now a regular visitor to the graphics fairy. i also used some images i bought from piddix too. an awesomely succesful etsy seller - unsurprisingly with all of her beautiful images for us to make and sell things with. this seller is really friendly and helpful too.
i will be adding additional scrapbook cards soon along with some of my 'i love you' library cards and vintage paper packs. i must create a tutorial for these scrapbooks one day for you - they are such fun to make and there are so many possibilities with them too.

p.s hello new readers - i hope you find my posts useful and interesting!
i just had to share these amazing art works with you today. they are by 9000 and they have a big cartel store here . these super high quality digital art prints are so my kind of thing and incredibly clever. i wish i had the brains to create such imaginative art work. unsurprisingly both of these art works have sold out but i shall be keeping my eyes open for more. at 21.3 X 16.9 inches, a pair of these would be ideal for one of my many bare unloved walls.
while on my little web surfing exercise yesterday i also came across this other fab site that i had to share with you and it is probably the most valuable and useful blog i have come across all to date.
it's called the graphics fairy and i absolutely love it because the lovely lady - Karen, that runs the blog sources fantastic images such as clip art and vintage printables - ranging from anatomical diagrams to botanical prints to postcards and, in all manner of themes. the GREAT news is that she is more than happy for you to use any of them for FREE in your personal AND RESALE projects. also, she makes sure they are all copyright free too - so you don't have to. i don't think i can describe quite how exited i am about finding this blog. there are literally thousands of clip art downloads to choose from. no wonder she has 11,000 plus followers.
here is more info on her terms and some information about copyright - a very important subject when using vintage images for your resale projects.
some of my favourite vintage printables from the blog -
check out this cool craft project based on the top phrenology diagram here. i SO wish i had found this site sooner!
hello everyone. here is a little preview of some new items coming to the shop soon.
i am currently in the process of making more cards including love cards (back by popular demand!) thank you cards and personalised new baby cards.
there will also be some more vintage prints and book plates coming soon too. i will let you know when they are listed in the shop.
have a great weekend!
