Elopement in Big Sur

The above photos are courtesy of one of my beautiful recent customers Beth. Herself and her husband Raza decided on an elopement to Big Sur - a beautiful part of the world as you can see from the pictures and the perfect setting for their nuptials.

Beth also kindly sent me a link to the video of the wedding which you can view here - Raza and Beth Elopement a really stunning video, the styling, music and atmosphere gave me goosebumps - you can clearly see how much they love each other and it's just so lovely to watch. I also adore the touching way in which they remembered their family members in the video too.

The video production and photography was carried out by The Cana Family a directing/shooting team with a focus on lifestyle / outdoors / commercial projects. Their website design is so cool and clever! and all of their videos / shoots are amazing. You can find out more about them here.

Location Weddings: Beach

Well seeing as we are now in the height of Summer I thought it only fitting (and about time) that I posted some summer wedding inspiration here.

Location weddings are becoming more and more popular for various reasons - I think one being guaranteed good weather and having a bit of a holiday/honeymoon at the same time. I can't think of a better destination for a wedding than on a beach. The good thing about beach weddings is that they can be as laid back as you like and the dress code isn't quite so strict either!

Interiors: Black and White - Moroccan Style

In need of a black and white fix again - this time Moroccan style! I must say I do love the usual colorful Moroccan interiors too - will be posting some nice pictures I recently found on the inter-webs soon. 

I have always wanted to go to Morocco - I should think I would definitely come back with lots of their lovely lamps - I would love to have lots of those (good job I always try to travel light!)  - and a Moroccan themed room would be handy to put them all in with lots of floor cushions / rugs etc. Perfect setting for balmy Summer nights - which we have been getting a lot of lately which is not something to be complaining about!

If I disappear soon it's because I am busy helping a certain someone have a baby - fingers crossed - very soon - and then - I will be back!

New to the Shop

I have just added these hand-typed vintage book page place cards to the shop. I recently made some of these for one of my couples getting married in September and I thought they were so nice that I would add them to the shop. These are ideal for vintage / rustic weddings.

Happy Friday: Inspirationals

Happy Friday, 
It's that lovely day again, I have been a bit AWOL this week as I have had a rather interesting project that I have been working on behind the scenes and it has kind of needed my pin point focus but hopefully back to more regular posting next week.

Today I am off to do another photo shoot with Sophie at Style Your Day today and over the weekend I will be adding more wedding invitations to the shop too so, yet again another working weekend but that's okay as I need to be on hand for the imminent arrival of a special little person soon!

New to the Shop

Yes I have been a busy bee lately!
These rustic wedding style invites are now in the shop. I have created six colour combinations in them so there should be something to suit you and I can always customize font colours/styles and card-stock colours etc.

Yes, it's that time again to start producing some Autumnal inspired items for the shop. I know it's still Summer and to be fair I am probably a bit late in updating the shop with Autumn inspired goods but at least I am in time for your place cards as you will be starting to look at getting those sorted at around this time if you are having an Autumn wedding.
